ETIAS & UK ETA
If you do not require a visa to visit the UK or Schengen Area in Europe, you may still require a form of authorisation.
- For non-EU passport holders entering the Schengen Area in Europe, a quick registration with the European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS for short) will be required from 2026. Please check the ETIAS website for more information.
- For non-UK passport holders entering the UK for tourism, it is required to apply for an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA for short). Please check the ETA website for more information.

USAThe USA offers a Visa Waiver Program for certain nationalities, although to be eligible you must hold a biometric passport and a pre-approved ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization). However, if you plan to take the Chobe day trip, you will need a KAZA Univisa rather than a standard Zimbabwe single-entry visa, as this allows travel between Zimbabwe and Zambia. Please note that certain nationalities are required to apply for a Zimbabwean visa in advance.
